IN THE NORTH OF PENESTIN; MORBIHAN
- LA ROCHE BERNARD : Prick up your ears, and find yourself sailing up the founding river, carried by the tide. Open your eyes, and relive the city's rich past, during the days of the barons and the sailing ships. There are plenty of handcraftworks to discover in this village.
- ROCHEFORT EN TERRE is a blooming beautiful village and has been voted one of France’s most beautiful villages and as a result it's one of Brittany’s most visited cities. Make your way through the narrow streets, ancient ateliers and workshops, admiring the geranium-bedecked houses along the way.
- VANNES is a town of art and history – a prestigious past dating back 2000 years with its Cathedral, its museum, its ramparts, and the old wash houses.
One can happily spend time walking around here, and the parks (tropical butterfly house), along with the oceanographic and tropical aquarium (Aquarium Océanique and Tropical) will add an exotic touch to your visit. Vannes is bustling.
- Lying on the Armorican Atlantic facade, THE GULF OF MORBIHAN ("little sea" in Breton) gave its name to the département. It is indeed a small interior sea, enclosed by the Rhuys peninsula, which covers some 100 km2. A narrow channel, with strong currents, allows access to the ocean.
It consists of 300 islands, around thirty of which are inhabited. Its mild, sunny climate, and the beauty of its indented coastlines makes the gulf of Morbihan a renowned tourist spot. - The 6000 years old megalithic site of CARNAC is a focal point of European prehistory. Its 3000 standing stones are distributed in a well-structured arrangement over a length of 4 km, and covering 40 hectares. The Carnac group constitutes one of the prime sites of monumental stone architecture in Europe. The sites are open to public during the winter, from October 1 to March 31, and during the summer for guided visits only.

THE PARK OF BRANFERE : This animal park offers you a tour on altitude. On 1700m2 of rope ladders and bridges everybody can have a Savanah view! Bird shows of and various entertainment with animals from April to the end of September. Restaurant on site.

IN THE SOUTH OF PENESTIN; LOIRE ATLANTIQUE
- THE SALT MARSHES OF GUERANDE AND THE FORTIFIED TOWN : A medieval citadel still surrounded by its 1.5 km of ramparts. These days Guérande is as well known for the quality of its monuments as for its salt marshes, which cover almost 2000 hectares. Destinated as a Town of Art and History, Guérande welcomes you through the gates of its medieval citadel... Reduced prices at the reception of the campsite to visit the salt marshes.
- LE CROISIC : Croisic was originally an island. Rocky coastlines, dunes, tidal reservoirs and marshes are amongst the varied landscapes to be found at Le Croisic. With its traditional architecture, this small town overlooking the port is a delightful place to stroll around... The Croisic Océarium will captivate young and old with its tactile pool, its marine dome, and its shark pool.

- BRIERE MARSHES : discover the natural park of Brière in barge or tilt cart - Tickets sales at the reception of the campsite.
- SAINT-NAZAIRE : Take a walk through a white town facing the sea, the birthplace of France's finest transatlantic liners. Stroll along the coastal path and discover the Escal'Atlantic - the liner museum. Take a guide to explore the city of yesteryear - and today, following its reconstruction.
- LA BAULE : 12 kilometer-long sand beach (the longest in Europe), an attractive and bustling seaside resort.
